Drying Time1 hour hr
Total Duration2 hours hrs 15 minutes mins
Yield: 1 wreath
Cost: $8
-
Begin by cutting or tearing the fabric into lengthy strips of at least 12″. Apply a medium layer of Gloss Mod Podge to the back of a few strips.
-
Wrap the wreath with the strips. You’ll probably discover you need more Mod Podge, so feel free to add it. Particularly at the beginnings and ends of the strips.
-
Keep adding Mod Podge to the fabric strips and then wrapping them. Once the strips have enveloped the wreath form, allow it to dry.
-
Apply a finishing layer of Sparkle Mod Podge over the top and let it dry.
-
Cut out holly leaves from felt with scissors. Trim a ribbon for hanging.
-
Utilize the hot glue gun to attach the leaves and buttons to form the holly. Also, use the hot glue to affix the ribbon to the back of the wreath. Allow it to cool completely prior to hanging.
My next project will be to explore it in a winter theme – blues, silvers. Your children are going to have a fantastic time (and you might even enjoy it a bit yourself). Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments!
