Cricut created baby shower game cards displaying product price tags with various dollar amounts utilized for a Price Is Right style guessing competition.

When I organized my daughter’s baby shower for my first grandchild, I realized I wanted enjoyable baby shower games that would engage everyone. It was important to have something the mother-to-be, friends, and family members could all participate in without requiring intricate instructions.

This simple Price Is Right-style game ended up being one of the most delightful baby shower activities at the event. Guests had a blast attempting to estimate the costs of baby products, and it was amusing to observe everyone comparing their responses.

The game components are straightforward to produce using Cricut and Canva, so even if you’re hosting and pressed for time, this project can come together swiftly.

If you’re arranging one of the numerous baby showers taking place this season and want an interactive option for your guests, this activity is a perfect fit.

Materials Required

These materials are utilized to create the game cards and pricing markers, not the baby products displayed in the game.

The initial step for this game is to go shopping, which I must confess was my favorite aspect. Shopping for a precious new grandchild is never a task!

I looked for 12 baby products with prices ranging from $1.98 to $19.98. Try to steer clear of duplicate pricing, although a few items can bear quite similar prices to add a little more intrigue to the game for guests.

Consider items such as:

  • pacifiers
  • baby socks
  • diaper cream
  • baby shampoo
  • small toys
  • teething rings

Make sure to retain your receipt as you’ll need it when preparing the game cards.

Design Game Cards in Canva

You can utilize my Canva template to simplify this task immensely.

Check your receipt and adjust the price figures on the template so they correspond with your baby items.

Each item is featured four times on the card, so ensure all four prices are identical.

Once the card is complete:

  1. Click Share in the upper right corner
  2. Select Download
  3. Choose PDF Print as the file format

Game Play

Arrange the game on a spacious table or counter where attendees can readily view everything.

Organize the baby items with a numbered circle beside each item. Shuffle the numbers so they are not arranged by price.

Set a stack of cards and writing instruments nearby so guests can inscribe their names and submit their guesses.

concluded instead of toting them around throughout the celebration.

Subsequently in the shower, assemble everyone and announce the prizes, commencing with item 1 and concluding with 12.

Attendees monitor how many prizes they accurately guessed. The individual with the highest number of correct responses receives the reward.
