Stack the stocking components, white cotton, two woven burlap pieces with right sides facing each other, followed by another layer of white cotton.

Sew along the borders, keeping the top unsewn.

Snip the edges and make small cuts along the curve of the toe to facilitate turning it right side out.

Before turning it the correct way out, ensure that you have secured all burlap edges while sewing along the border.

Then, flip it to the right side.

Measure the width of the stocking’s opening, decide on how tall you would like the cuff, and cut a piece of white fabric accordingly.

I allotted enough fabric to tuck under the raw edge of the cuff, plus a little extra for the seam allowance.

Fold the cuff in half lengthwise and stitch up the short end to form a tube.

Cut a piece of twine approximately 3.5 inches long.

Insert the cuff into the stocking.

Fold the twine in half and position it between the cuff and the stocking, forming a loop to suspend it from.
