  1. Sketch or print a template for your rainbow and transfer it onto the embroidery stabilizer.

  2. Center the design on the hood of the baby towel, remove the protective backing, and adhere the template.

  3. Place the hood of the towel into the embroidery hoop. Ensure that only the front of the hood is tucked in.
  4. Stitch the first arc of the rainbow using the backstitch. Employ a doubled thread and maintain even spacing along the outline. Secure the thread carefully on the reverse side.

  5. Create the second arc using the daisy stitch. This forms heart-shaped loops that add vibrancy to the design. Secure each loop with a small stitch.
  6. For the third arc, apply the satin stitch with six threads. Ensure to position the stitches closely together for a smooth finish.
  7. For the fourth arc, stitch a leafy tendril using backstitch and daisy stitch. Alternate the stitches to create the leaf pattern.
  8. The fifth arc, like the first, should be created using a backstitch. Use a doubled thread once more.
  9. Once finished, take out the embroidery frame and rinse off the embroidery stabilizer.
