Handmade Easter Card with Digital Scrapbook Paper

Now let’s convert those virtual papers into a completed card.

  1. Separate the four printed rectangles.
  2. Slice a sheet of 8.5 x 11 white cardstock in half lengthwise.
  3. Fold one strip in half to produce a 4.25 x 5.5-inch card foundation (A2 size).

Prepare your layering pieces:

  • Matching solid cardstock: 4 x 5.25 inches
  • White cardstock for message: 2.5 x 1.625 inches

From three distinct digital sheets, cut two smaller shapes from each.

Rectangles work well, but this is where you can unleash your creativity. These identical shapes can also serve as scrapbooking embellishments or layered components for invitations.

Stamp your message onto the white rectangle using coordinating ink.

Before adhering, softly ink around the edges of your patterned pieces. This adds dimension and enhances the illustrations against the backdrop.

Arrange everything on the solid cardstock layer initially. Shift pieces around until the spacing appears harmonious. Once you’re satisfied, adhere them down.

Add adhesive foam dots behind the greeting to provide dimension. Then attach the finished panel to the front of your card base.

And just like that, you’ve transformed digital sheets into a handmade card that feels considerate and personal.

This layout is highly adaptable, allowing you to effortlessly reuse it for scrapbooking pages, printable templates, or even layered invitations.

Simply swap the digital artworks, and you have an entirely new appearance.
