- Egg carton
- Acrylic paint e.g. online here 🛒
- 1 wooden sticks e.g. B. Shish kebab skewer
- colorful craft paper
- small wooden ball with a hole e.g. online here 🛒
- Detach one of the prongs from the egg carton – specifically, the pointed section between two egg wells. This will eventually serve as the “flower base”.
- Embellish the open side of the prong to your liking and trim the edges artistically.
- Color the egg carton prong with the hue of your choice.
- Cut tiny flowers with stems from vibrant craft paper. Ensure their length does not exceed the height of the egg carton prong.
-
Affix the paper flowers to one end of the wooden stick. Tip: The flowers should extend beyond the stick so they can spread out beautifully later and the stick remains hidden.
- Gently poke a small hole into the tip of the egg carton prong using scissors.
- Insert the wooden stick through the open side into the egg carton prong and push it through the hole. Continue until the flowers are fully concealed inside.
- Gently push the stick upwards until the petite bouquet of flowers visibly unfurls. Mark this position on the stick.
- Slide the wooden ball onto the wooden stick up to the mark and adhere it there. It will later act as a “stopper”.
- If desired, you can add a small note to the exterior of the egg carton – for example “For you”, “Thank you”, or “You are fantastic”.
